Three bathroom layouts to start from

The compact 7 × 9 ft example has an Indian-style squat toilet, shower and small basin. The 8 × 10 ft family bathroom includes a Western WC, shower enclosure, vanity and towel rail. A larger 10 × 12 ft example lets you compare a bathtub, separate shower, WC and storage. Every size, position and orientation is editable.

Place fixtures without drawing walls

Choose Western, Indian or wall-hung toilets; wash basins and vanity units; open showers, shower enclosures or tubs; plus cabinets, towel rails and a floor drain marker. Tap or drag the fixture to position it. Use the arrow and rotation controls beneath the drawing for smaller changes. The optional Doors & openings panel lets you mark windows, doors and open passages on the room edges.

Understanding the bathroom layout warnings

The editor warns about overlapping fixtures, parts extending outside the room, furniture blocking the approximate doorway approach, and some toilets or basins facing a blocked or very close area. Its front-of-fixture check uses a simplified 1.5 ft rectangle; it does not validate access, actual toilet clearances or usable turning space. Verify physical dimensions and service locations before choosing products.

The editor cannot assess waterproofing, slopes and drainage, vent placement, shower-spray containment, plumbing and electrical installations, door swing, or applicable building and accessibility requirements. Yes. The compact starter includes one. You can replace it with a Western WC or wall-hung WC and adjust placement.

Can I change my bathroom measurements?

Yes. Use feet or metres, enter room dimensions and change each fixture's width, depth, rotation and position.
