Free Furniture Room Planner
See how your furniture might fit before rearranging a bedroom, living room or hall. Choose a measured room, add beds, wardrobes, sofas or tables, then move and rotate them. The tool runs in your browser, supports doors, windows and open passages, saves locally and has free A4 PDF, PNG, SVG and editable project exports.

12 × 12 ft · 0 items
Doors & openings (0) · optional
No fiddly wall drawing. Choose an edge, then add a doorway, window or open passage. An open side can be fully wall-free.
Door and passage warnings check a roughly 2.5 ft approach strip. Windows are visual markers only. Verify actual swing, clearance and load-bearing walls professionally.
How to arrange furniture
Choose the bedroom, living room or hall preset, or enter custom room dimensions in feet or metres. Add items from the furniture palette and choose one on the drawing. You can drag furniture in Edit mode, use the arrow buttons and nearby Rotate 90° control directly beneath the canvas, without scrolling back and forth. For additional precision, you can type furniture dimensions and positions in the details panel. Pinch with two fingers to zoom, or select Pan to navigate the drawing.
Save and share your layout
Your draft saves in this browser without registration. An editable JSON export lets you reopen the arrangement later, including on another device. Download a PDF with a discreet HouseFolio footer or a PNG/SVG image. Browser storage can be cleared, so keep an editable backup for important plans.
Frequently asked questions
Is HouseFolio's room planner free?
Yes. The furniture editor, local saving and standard PDF, PNG, SVG and editable file downloads are free without an account.
Can I plan a bedroom or large hall?
Yes. Start with the bedroom, living room or large hall presets, or enter your own room dimensions in feet or metres.
Are furniture sizes exact?
No. Furniture sizes differ by model. The planner provides editable starting dimensions and is intended for exploration, not purchasing from unverified measurements.
