No fiddly wall drawing. Choose an edge, then add a doorway, window or open passage. An open side can be fully wall-free.
Door and passage warnings check a roughly 2.5 ft approach strip. Windows are visual markers only. Verify actual swing, clearance and load-bearing walls professionally.
Family hall vs. drawing room
In many Indian homes a hall is the everyday living room, with television, seating and family activities. A separate drawing room can be a more formal place for visitors. Choose the TV lounge template for the first use, or the guest seating arrangement when you want sofas facing one another around a centre table.
Experiment before rearranging
Place sofas, armchairs, recliners, coffee tables, side tables, TV consoles, bookshelves and display cabinets. Try a 15 × 12 ft TV lounge, a 16 × 14 ft guest seating room or a 20 × 16 ft family hall. You can change all dimensions, choose door, window or wall-free passage positions, and rotate objects directly beneath the canvas.
Living room planning questions
Can I plan a 20 × 16 ft family hall?
Yes. Open the large family hall starting layout, then move furniture, resize the room or change individual item dimensions.
Can I try a formal drawing room without a TV?
Yes. The guest seating example uses sofas, a centre table, an armchair and a display cabinet, without a television unit.
Can I export and reopen an arrangement?
Yes. Export an A4 PDF, PNG or SVG, and keep an editable JSON project. This mode saves separately from the bedroom and general furniture planners.
